Adding a propane grill

Hi, my T-2499 has a gas line stub for a portable grill. It has a female threaded cap on it. How should I connect this to my Coleman Roadtrip grill? I’m thinking that i would need the filling:
Gas ball valve on the existing stub
Quick connect coupler.
Propane grill hose without regulator.


Is this correct?
