Dometic Fridge

While at first glance this might look like your old stereo front panel, it's actually the front of a Dometic fridge.
The intention of this pic is to show what I did for those two slider panels that are used as protection against someone accidentally touching knobs.

I found my panels were 'yellowed' from age. So, I removed them and used that headlight restore product. I used Meguiars but all the major brands are good. Admittedly, it's hard to tell from this photo because I don't have a high-end camera Canon S5-IS and of course my lighting doesn't help, but Debbie and I can see the difference.
In this shot only the left was done and the right piece was done after the pic. I've used that headlight restore on various items for clean up and I get a 75% success rate. Great for dull taillight lenses or anything with hard plastic. A couple of years ago I tried that tooth paste approach but there's nothing like the real stuff
