Up for sale is our reliable 2753 that has been with us for 7 years and 3 military moves. Last large service was conducted in March 2017 with a new awning, Dicor CoolCoat, bearing pack, and roof re-seal/scrape. Upgrades include Reese DualCam weight distribution/sway control and various minor convenience upgrades inside. Tires were replaced in 2013 and have approximately 5,000 miles on them. We removed the dining table bench seat closest to the door, for more flexibility with our dogs and travel crib. I saved all the components and it can be re-installed as desired. All major components work with the exception of the signal booster for the tv antenna. Roof is leak-free and all seals are intact. We are not smokers (non-smoker RV).
The rest of the story:
A 2016 hailstorm in Texas caused a good bit of hail damage to the exterior, but thankfully didn’t water-log the camper, break windows, or cause minor water damage. I replaced the shower skylight, performed some light caulking, replaced some marker lights and a tail light, but otherwise we were saved from critical damage. The March 2017 service addressed the remaining service issues from the hailstorm. Last fall, I re-sealed the back bedroom window after noticing a small leak. It is now water-tight.
We’ve been in Northern Virginia for 3 years and learned that we’re staying for another 3. Unfortunately over the past 2 years we have not been using the camper enough to justify keeping it.
I’m asking $4,000 but open to reasonable offers. I’d prefer the buyer to tow it, but I’ll consider a short delivery tow ~100 miles if necessary. With the exception of the exterior hail appearance, the inside is clean and very well-kept.
Receipts for maintenance performed are available upon request.
